Doorndraai covers 1600 hectares of bushveld and comprises of a low lying as well as a mountainous area. The lodges are situated on the high lying area with a panoramic view of the bushveld and the Waterberge.

Doorndraai is accessible without a 4x4 vehicle by means of a dirt road.
